We are delighted to celebrate that the Technological University Dublin’s MSc in applied Building Information Modelling and Management suite has won the Irish Construction Excellence (ICE) Award for best Third Level / Postgraduate course.

The ICE Awards are the original and premier recognition of performance excellence for the contracting sector in Ireland and provides an opportunity for the industry to showcase and reward best practice across 17 categories.

Waterman Moylan’s Kieran O’Neill, Senior Health & Safety Consultant, and Patrick Crean, Senior Structural Engineer, are both part-time lecturers at the MSc which takes place in evenings over the course of three years. The MSc programme welcomes mature students from consulting and contracting businesses and is a key enabler in the modernisation of Irish construction.

Kieran said; “It is a fantastic achievement for all involved in the course to see it being recognised for this prestigious award. Particularly this year where the 100-year-old college formed part of Ireland’s first Technological University. We are very excited about the future as the course evolves to stay at the forefront of BIM, application of Information Technology and excellence in construction.”
