Two Fifty One

Waterman Group is delighted to have commenced work on a major residential and commercial scheme at Elephant and Castle, London, on behalf of our Client South Central Management. Two Fifty One will provide 335 prestigious apartments within a 41-storey tower together with an adjacent eight-storey office building.

Waterman are employed across all disciplines including MEP, Structures, Civils, Environmental and Transportation. Our specialist property and infrastructure teams will also providing acoustic design and sustainability advice to allow relevant conditions to be discharged and the design developed to provide a high quality sustainable development.

The structure is being developed to utilise Laing O’Rourke’s DFMA system throughout using precast columns and lattice floor plank systems with a two storey basement constructed with a Secant Wall formed from an existing basement level.

State of the art, low energy heating wil be provided by centralised condensing boilers serving the whole site with hydraulic interface units provided for the apartments. The energy strategy will be based on offsite renewables with provision made for future connection to a Multi Utility Service Company.
