Waterman was engaged as the Technical Advisor to the State government for the new 1,300-bed medium security prison at Ravenhall in Melbourne.
Our specialists prepared the technical brief for the PPP bidders. The works also included the assessment of the bidder’s submission, technically reviewed the successful bidders proposed design and witness testing of the commissioning and handover phase on completion of the construction.
The prison will be a fully self-contained operating facility including a dedicated secure mental health facility, full administration and support facilities, and full industries and training facilities.
