Southwest St Helier Waterfront

Published 29th November 2022

The regeneration of 11.5 hectares at St Helier Waterfront aims to create a waterfront community that sets a new standard in urban regeneration for Jersey. The proposals will deliver significant new community spaces, including 1,000 new homes, 32,301 sqm of commercial, social infrastructure, cultural and leisure facilities, and over 65,755 sqm of vibrant, fully accessible public realm.

The masterplan allows flexibility for change but also sets in place fundamental parameters on climate, sustainability, biodiversity, connectivity and movement, open space, design, building heights and views to ensure the vision is delivered for the Jersey community.

We were appointed to provide structural, civil, MEP and environmental consultancy services for the scheme, and are working closely with the project team to develop the full potential of this key site. Our team is also leading the sustainability and energy strategy for the development, which will include air source heat pump technology and a ‘fabric first’ approach to building envelope design.
