The Peel Ports Framework is seeing our team provide engineering and environmental consultancy services in support of key infrastructure projects and feasibility work across all of Peel Group’s projects and engineering operations.
Peel Ports owns and operates six of the UK’s most important ports, as well as a container terminal in Dublin, handling 65 million tonnes of cargo every year. They are committed to continuing to improve their customer offering as well as supporting and enhancing their commitment to becoming carbon neutral by 2040. Peel Ports is part of the Peel Group, one of the UK’s foremost privately-owned investment enterprises.
Notable projects delivered through the consultancy framework include the new Gladstone passage outer lock gates at the Port of Liverpool, and the development platform for a 22,524 sqm rail-linked multi- user warehouse, which is set to launch as a new Bulk and Steel facility in 2024. These two projects alone equate to a £35m investment, whilst throughout the last ten years Peel Ports has invested over £1bn on sustainable infrastructure projects, with a further £200m planned in the next twelve months.
