We are delighted to announce that Cristina Orgaz Rivas has joined our civils structures team in Manchester as Associate Director to support our sustained growth plans in the temporary works field, particularly in the northern region.
A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 10 years’ experience in the rail, bridges, maritime and built environment sectors, Cristina’s expertise spans multiple aspects of civil engineering with a focus on the design and buildability of temporary works.
With outstanding leadership skills, Cristina has led engineering teams and successfully delivered a diverse range of projects for private and public sector clients, both in the UK and in her native Spain.
Joining us after several years spent working with temporary works specialists, Tony Gee and Richter, Cristina’s expansive portfolio includes significant rail sector schemes such as the Midland Mainline, Kings Cross Remodelling and HS2. She has also contributed to a wide range of bridge projects, including the River Witham bridge, New Elvet bridge, Silver Jubilee bridge and the Mersey Gateway bridge. In addition, Cristina has supported a range of schemes and clients in the power sector, including Sellafield and the National Grid.
