Commenting on Nafis’ appointment, Waterman’s Infrastructure and Environment Director for the North, John Hughes, said: “With the public sector facing unprecedented pressure on budgets at a time when tackling the climate emergency is of paramount importance, unlocking funding and ensuring value for money in infrastructure is more important than ever. I’m certain that Nafis’ experience of delivering successful business cases with National Highways, Midlands Connect and many local authorities will prove a vital asset as we continue to support our clients in delivering major infrastructure schemes across the UK.”
