Waterman completes IEMA EIA Quality Mark re-assessment for 2023/2024

Published 23rd April 2024

Underpinning our commitment to delivering exceptional Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) support for schemes across every sector, our environment team has successfully completed the re-assessment for the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment’s (IEMA’s) EIA Quality Mark scheme.

IEMA is the UK’s largest environmental professional association. Its EIA Quality Mark registrant list includes the UK’s leading consultancies, and the scheme’s first developer, the Environment Agency’s National Environmental Assessment Service (NEAS). EIA Quality Mark registrants adhere to seven key commitments which help give an assurance to clients that the EIA activities delivered will be of the highest standard and have been independently reviewed by IEMA.

Waterman’s Technical Director and National EIA Lead, Lara Knapman, commented: Our latest EIA Quality Mark confirmation highlights our deep expertise in EIA. Thanks to the dedication of our team, we consistently maintain the high standards outlined by the Quality Mark scheme. Our recent successful re-assessment reflects our commitment to working collaboratively with project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of highly sustainable, climate-resilient developments.”
