Waterman is thrilled to have been invited to join a select group of companies who are corporate partners of the Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning and Transport (ADEPT).

ADEPT brings together directors from county, unitary, metropolitan and combined authorities in England, along with sub-national transport bodies and corporate partners drawn from key service sectors. ADEPT members serve over 42 million people and are responsible for providing day-to-day services including local highways, recycling, waste and planning as well as the strategic long-term planning and delivery of sustainable places.

Waterman has a growing portfolio of public sector frameworks and partnerships delivering consultancy and secondment services to clients across the country. Becoming a corporate partner allows Waterman the exciting opportunity to support ADEPT members by sharing our experiences and helping drive innovation.

Ann Carruthers, President of ADEPT, said: “Working with our corporate partners is an ADEPT priority. We all recognise and understand the importance of partnership working across the public, private and community sectors in shaping our places. Working collectively to find creative solutions and develop appropriately skilled professionals, is best done in partnership. Working with our corporate partners allows us to shape the future.”

Waterman Group’s Commercial Marketing Director, Jonathan Hoare, commented: “Local authorities are facing numerous challenges with increased demand for services, budget pressures, and the drive to Net Zero. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with ADEPT and its members to help meet these challenges and deliver value for money services for local residents across England.”
