We are delighted to welcome John Suckling to the Waterman team to lead our development of DRIMS (Dynamic Response Intelligent Monitoring System) to support the continued growth and development of our highways sector.
Based in our Birmingham office, John brings extensive experience working within local-authority highway and transportation environments. His expertise spans urban traffic control (UTC) systems, roadside technologies, and real-time operational platforms, alongside hands-on highways inspection, defect identification, and risk assessment.
As well as supporting our DRIMS marketing and technical delivery, John will be working alongside experts from Japanese engineering consultancy and Waterman’s parent organisation, CTI International to achieve PAS 2161 accreditation, the new standard for road condition monitoring.
