Waterman welcomes new Rail Director
We are pleased to welcome Manoj Gupta as Rail Director to help strengthen our Transportation sector.
Based in our Redhill office, Manoj will be working closely with the leadership team to grow our presence in the UK and to lead our national rail sector strategy.
Manoj is a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and has over 24 years’ experience in managing and leading large multidisciplinary Transport business units, projects and programmes in the UK, Australia and Asia with exposure in the US, middle East, Asia Pacific.
Manoj joins us from AECOM, where he was Director of UK Rail South region and successfully led a 200-strong multidisciplinary rail team across five UK offices. Prior to this, he was Head of Rail (UK and Middle East) for Capita.
With significant experience in the delivery and management of large major transport projects, bid strategies and client relationship management, Manoj’s portfolio includes notable projects such as Radlett Freight Interchange, High Speed 2, Crossrail (multiple contracts), Novo Rail Alliance in Australia, and High Speed Haramain Rail in Saudi Arabia. In addition to his rail expertise, Manoj also brings expertise in tunnels, bridges, stations, ports, highways and related infrastructure design and construction projects.
