Laura Smith from our midlands team has been shortlisted in the ‘Rising Star – Commercial’ category at the upcoming Inspiring Women in Property Awards.
The Rising Star award by Property Week recognises young UK-based real estate professionals who have made exceptional starts to their careers and promise to be future leaders in their fields.
A Senior Consultant in our transport planning team, Laura has contributed to many projects since joining Waterman in 2019, including Graven Hill, a major development near Bicester which will offer 1,900 new self-build homes once completed.
Laura is passionate about increasing diversity in our industry, she is an active committee member of Women in Planning in the East Midlands and is also helping to inspire young women by being a mentor for A-level and University students in the midlands region.
Winners will be announced during a gala dinner event at Hilton London Metropole on the 5th October.
