From our award-winning apprenticeship scheme and STEM initiatives through to our volunteering, charity and wellbeing programmes, we actively support and invest in local communities, schools and the next generation of engineers. We are passionate about tackling the climate emergency, and are committed to reaching Net Zero in line with the requirements for keeping global temperature rise under 1.5°C.

Through our Corporate Social Responsibility framework, we support our clients and partners to meet their own strategies and objectives, undertaking joint social value and community engagement activities on schemes of every scale. We draw upon our experience of delivering social value through our many framework appointments with public and private sector clients and long-term partnerships.

Our social value strategy is aligned with the UK Government’s Social Value Model and the UN Sustainability Goals, and by understanding our clients’ priorities and setting out clear KPIs and tracking systems, we ensure social value is always delivered consistently, no matter what the scheme.

Better Bankside – Lunch Time Planting

Helping Better Bankside with the fantastic work they do in our local community. During lunchtime gardening sessions, we helped dig, plant, pot and spruce up the green spaces on Bankside, right on the doorstep of our London office, making the area greener and more beautiful.

Our Charity Partner for 2025

This year, we’re delighted to be supporting the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CEHT) as our charity partner for 2025.

The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) is a UK charity dedicated to helping people affected by retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. From their base in The Royal London Hospital, they provide vital support and information to families and individuals impacted by the disease, whilst also funding research into the prevention and treatment of retinoblastoma. In addition, they are committed to raising awareness among health professionals and the public, whilst influencing policy to improve services for patients.
