Waterman relocates Bristol presence to prime location

We are excited to announce that we have moved our Bristol team to a new state-of-the-art premises at Linear Park, Temple Quay as part of our continued expansion in the South West.

Located on the 5th floor, our new home in this stunning landmark building has been totally refurbished to a world-class standard, all with welfare and user experience in mind. With ready access to a variety of collaborative spaces, the building’s extensively glazed elevations allow natural light to flood the office floors. In a boost to green travel options, our team will also benefit from an extensive bike storage area, together with onsite changing and drying rooms.

Led by Richard Stockwell, Steve Jones and David Knight, the team is looking forward to welcoming existing and new clients to the new premises from 3 June, located at Linear Park, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS2 0PS.

Waterman’s multidiscipline team in Bristol is supporting a diverse range of schemes across residential, commercial and infrastructure markets locally, some of which include developments at Freestone Island, Fox Den Road, Temple Quay 3 and Anstey’s Road in the Bristol area.

Elsewhere, the team has delivered a range of MoD schemes under Aspire Defence, along with the UK Battery Innovation Centre and Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry, Jersey’s International Finance Centre, Graven Hill in Bicester, Pompey Centre Retail Park in Portsmouth and Biggleswade’s new railway depot.

With over 30 years’ experience as a Building Services Consultant, Steve’s expansive portfolio spans a broad range of sectors and project scales, including the £1.1bn Aspire Defence project where he played a leading role. Steve heads – up strategic design for our Bristol and South – West projects and is responsible for our overall service delivery.

With a proven track record across all market sectors including commercial, residential and education, Steve also has specialist knowledge of the industrial and defence sectors, and he has established long term relationships with key clients such as MTC.

Prioritising the development of client relationships and taking a hands – on approach to his work, Steve’s expertise in the construction industry, combined with his track record in project delivery, means that he adds significant value to the projects he leads.

Throughout his career, Steve has played a pivotal role in delivering schemes for end users, developers and contactors. He integrates fully with client and contractor teams and promotes excellent communication in support of successful project delivery.

His proven ability to engage successfully with stakeholders and user groups means he understands their needs and assimilates their feedback into designs. Solution focused, Steve proactively identifies and communicates potential risks to reach optimum solutions in a highly efficient way.
